Pushing brand awareness campaign limits: Cardboard Sessions
Our long-term client Ernest Packaging Solutions takes the impossible and makes it possible, thanks to their team of fearless innovators and our unique partnership with Signal Snowboards. That’s how we helped them create their video series Cardboard Chaos, which led to their newest installment: Cardboard Sessions.
By collaborating with Signal once again and drawing inspiration from MTV Unplugged and NPR’s Tiny Desk concerts, Cardboard Sessions came to life. This cardboard collab features Ernest’s paper Fender Stratocaster and corrugated drum kit from Masters of Maple. But what’s the real headline here? World-famous musicians are brought in to put Ernest’s cardboard instruments to the ultimate in-studio test. Arguably the best part is that there are no scripts or limits. Artists are able to jam out together and play their hearts out—creating one-of-a-kind songs in the process. It’s a unique musical experience for both musicians and listeners alike.
Ernest’s senior design specialists played a huge part in making this video series a success. They’re the innovation behind crafting these instruments. It’s their expertise and knowledge of the latest trends and technology that has given Ernest the opportunity to partner with Signal and provide a space for musicians to create memorable music—the kind of music only cardboard can make.
So far, Ernest’s latest series has seen artists from Jane’s Addiction, Rage Against the Machine and more, covering all kinds of genres including rock, grunge and jazz. See the full episodes below and follow Ernest Packaging + Signal Snowboards SoundCloud stay up-to-date on future releases.
